Memorial at the Cabin

This made me laugh even though it
was extremely late at night. Jeff did not have
a face book account set up and so Spencer,
Katie and Rachael helped him try to set one
up on Grandpa's ipad. Jeff did not have a picture
to put for his profile so Spencer tagged a picture
of Jeff on his account so Jeff could use it.
I love how they are all hovered over the ipad
trying to work out Jeff's face book account.

Well Memorial weekend is the weekend to
clean and get ready for the summer.
Brandon is usually the one working non stop
like Grandpa. But us girls did our share to.

Riley pretending to put on Grandma's make up
on before church.

The traditional march. Owen got
to join now that he is a little bigger.

We don't get too many pictures of Sierra smiling
and looking at the camera at the same time.
She loves the flag march.

I love, love, love this picture. We are forcing
Josh to have a good time. He obviously does not like it.
He is screaming his lungs out. For some reason
he did not want to do this march. When in the
past he has loved it.

Preschool Graduation

Sierra's first preschool Graduation.
Yes there is one more after this!

Sierra's program was in the afternoon so Brandon
could not go because of work. Paige's was
in the evening.

When I go to these graduations, which I've been
to plenty I think about a part in the "Incredibles" movie
where the mom and dad are arguing about their
sons school graduation.

The mom says, "I can't believe you don't want to
go to your own sons graduation."

The dad replies,
"It is not a graduation, He is moving from the
forth grade to the fifth grade.

The mom, "It's a ceremony."

The dad, " It's psychotic they keep creating new ways to
celebrate mediocrity.

Anyway I'm proud of Sierra and she actually
got up and said her part in the microphone.

Paige said her part in the microphone as well.
Much better from last years program.
She is holding on to her five bucks Uncle Mikel
gave her for graduation. My girls
have such good aunts and uncles and grand parents
that are so good to support every big and little
thing in there life.

Dinosuar Museum Field Trip

Riley had a Field Trip to the
Dinosaur Museum in Ogden.
All the kids wore their dinosaur
t-shirts they made.
I volunteered to go. I got put in charge of
a group of girls.
Riley was so excited to ride the bus.

Preschool Carnival

Paige and Sierra had their Preschool Carnivals
instead of the water party they typically
have at the end of the year. It was threatening
rain but the weather held out for the kids.

I volunteered to make all the treat
bags for the kids in Paige's and Sierra's
class.

Rocky Mountain Race way

Our good Friends the Sandbergs invited us
to go with them to the Rocky Mountain Race way.
We grabbed a bite to eat at Paces.

Hallie, Carter, Riley, Sierra and Paige

Cassie, Ben, Ellie, Brandon and Kristie

My girls had not been to the races before
and thought it was pretty cool. Owen
was so funny to watch. He just watched the
cars go around and around the track. He
just sat there and only his head would move from
side to side watching the cars. He was good about
us smashing ear plugs into his ears.

It was getting late and the kids were getting
a little tired but could not pass up Ice Cream.
We did not know where to go so we drove around
and ended up at Paces. We started
in Layton at Paces for dinner we might as well
end the night at Paces in Bountiful!

She loves soccer!

Paige was sad that soccer was over for the season.
And she keeps asking when she can play again.

Not scared anymore

6 months ago Sierra was too scared to open
her mouth at the dentist. This time she was
able to do it. She still was scared but willing
to give it a try after watching her sisters and
mom and dad.
Yeah! We are a cavity FREE family!

They let Sierra wear the sunglasses so
no water splashed in her face. And she loved
watching the t.v. above her.

Her sisters told her all about the spit sucker!
She liked holding it.

She really wanted the prizes and her own
tooth brush and tooth paste so she tried
real hard to be brave.

And... He's off

Owen took his first steps at
9 1/2 months!
He is growing up way too fast. But it
is so cute to see him walk and love it!

Sierra's Special Preschool Day

Sierra got to celebrate her birthday at
school early since her birthday is in the
summer. So we beautified her hair
and helped her feel special. She colored
her poster and wrote her name by herself.
I helped her write the answers.

Sierra is such a darling girl and I couldn't agree more with
Brandon when he said, "one of Sierra's talents is that she can
get anything she wants by just batting her eyes and showing
her beautiful smile."

Germs for free!

This is Owen's first time out of the car seat carrier and
sitting in the store grocery cart. I put it off as long as
I could. And I did not put to much effort into finding a cute
boy cover for the cart. I probably should have. I absolutely
am a freak when it comes to germs. Specially store
grocery carts. I never let my kids play in the ones that
have the pretend car hooked on the front. Way too many
germs. So after sanitizing the entire cart and after washing
his hands after shopping to me it still was not good enough.
But he enjoyed his freedom out of the car seat. And that
was all worth seeing him smile!

End of Soccer

Well, Riley is done with soccer for good.
She is hanging up the towel. She enjoyed it for
a few years and now it's time to move on.

off their new medals.

Riley stuck it out to the end even thought it got tough.

Dinosaur Program

Riley had her 1st grade Program.
It was so crazy. There were so many people
in the gym and lunch room. The room was not
big enough to fit everyone. And of course getting
there 30 minutes before was still not soon enough.
I was so far back I could not even see her.
She sang and did all the actions but was timid
and shy. The 1st grade had been practicing
all the dinosaur songs from the beginning of
the year. I remember Riley taking about it
long before. She was so excited and loved learning
about all the different dinosaurs through song.

Riley loves her teacher, Mrs. Edwards

And her long term substitute, Mr. Edwards
came back to see his class perform. Riley
was thrilled. What an awesome teacher to come
back and make all the kids feel loved.
Riley really enjoyed him as a teacher while
Mrs. Edwards was gone on maternity leave.

Riley was excited to meet and hold Mrs. Edwards
baby, Matix.

Grandpa could not make the program but
met us after and treated us to Ice cream.
