Oh Christmas tree Oh Christmas tree....

We've always gotten a real tree. But our
tradition of cutting it down this year and last
did not happen because we were out of town so
we had to shop around the town. We might have
to retire that tradition and get a new one.
We found this nursery in Clearfield that had
nice trees. So we got one of their biggest trees.

I love this picture of my favorite boys in the world!
Little "O" and Big Daddy!

We took a chance with this tree because it
was so cold out side the tree branches had
not fallen down into place so we did not know
if it had any bald spot. But we guessed good.
As soon as it got in our warm house the branches
began to fall and the tree was so pretty it looked fake.

The kids look forward to decorating the tree
every year together as a family. We hang one ornament
at a time. It's fun to talk about each one since
they are from Brandon's childhood and some from
are family vacations over the years.
The girls each have a few of their own to hang.

Thanksgiving at the cabin

This year we got the chance to celebrate
Thanks Giving at the Cabin in Bear Lake.
It was so much fun to be up there as family
away from all the worries of the world.
We relaxed, 4-wheeled, did some sledding,
ate good food, watched movies, did puzzles,
made gingerbread houses, played games
and loved it all.

We were the first ones up there so we got to freeze
in a cabin of 45 degrees until it warmed up.
Owen liked watching the fire all bundled up.

Lisa made a wonderful delicious dinner.

Riley made name tags for everyone and put them by
their plate were they were sitting.
She also asked everyone what they were thankful
for and wrote it on the back of their name tag for
all of us to see. Brandon said he was thankful for me!
I'm so lucky!

Paige and Sierra loved doing puzzles.

Riley read books to Bailee.

Owen loved his warm bath!

Grandma is so thoughtful to bring up stuff
for the girls to make ginger bread houses.
The girls loved it. They each made two.

Riley's friend Elyssa was up at her cabin
and decided to come over to sled.

Josh loved pretending he was driving the 4-wheeler
and Sierra just went a long for the ride!

Brandon and Paige

All the kids.
Josh and Sierra did not like the sledding as
much as running around playing in the snow.

I loved watching Paige play the Wii. She got into
it so much when playing the sword fighting game.
Sierra gave it a try too.

This is were the 3 babies spent most of their
time at the cabin was playing with their toys
on the floor.....
or eating. That's all us mothers did was feed our
babies!

Grandma G's Birthday!

For Grandma's Birthday it has been a tradition
that my kids and I have been doing for the past few
years, by visiting her at her work at Clearfield High.
This year we invited the other cousins to join us.
My girls made Grandma Birthday cards. And of course
she loved it!

The new babies!
Owen-Bailee-Tate

Grandma and all the grand kids. We wish Ali and
her four kids were here so all the grand kids were
in the picture.
The kids thought they were pretty cool sitting
in the High school desks doing work.

The next day we had dinner at Grandma's house to
celebrate her birthday. One of the gifts we gave her from
all the grand kids was an apron with all their hand prints.

We had grandma's favorite pie. And Chocolate
cupcakes for the kids.

We love you Grandma!
And we are so glad you're
apart of our life!

Sierra goes to the Dentist

Sierra had her first visit to the dentist for
a cleaning. Of course she did not want the
hygienist to get near her. Even sitting on dads
lap. Maybe next time. Sierra wanted me to use the
hygienist's tools and clean her mouth but
not the hygienist.

Pretty Pretty Princess!

Sierra, like any other girl loves
to put on make up. The blush she is using
is such a light pink that you can't see it
and it does not make a mess. But I tell
her it looks so pretty and that's all that matters!

Getting down and dirty...

I was folding laundry one day and came
across this shirt of Brandon's. It is a clean shirt mind you!
He has had this shirt since we were dating. And look
what it's become. You could say he is a slob with all those stains
or rips or you could say so much more. When I saw this shirt it made me
smile. This shirt has gone through more then a dozen oil changes,
brake pads being changed, fixing stuff around the house, earning
money for his family on sides jobs, doing yard work and so much more.
Needless to say this shirt is full of memories
it is probably time to retire it!

I have such an amazing husband and
I love him more then words could
explain.

I love you babe!
You're the best!

Owen's Bebe Pod

My mom got this for Owen and he is now big
enough to use it. I love his face concentrating
so hard to make his hands grab the toy.
I can't believe my little "O" boy is getting so big.

New Cousin

Brandon's brother had their second baby boy!
"TATE"
a.k.a. "Tatters" or "Tatter Tot"
He is so adorable. He has more of his mommy's
features. The most obvious, dark hair.
We just love him and are so happy for
Jeff and Rachael!

Our 8th Anniversary

This year Brandon and I celebrated our anniversary
a couple of months after. With a new baby and
Brandon out of town we could not find any time.
And even when we got the chance to go out
poor Brandon was sick anyway. Maybe
Anniversaries are over rated. But I need every
excuse to get a date with my husband!

Happy 8th Brandon!
I Love You!

2nd visit from the Tooth Fairy

Riley lost her 2nd tooth.
Her teeth never want to come out on
their own. Riley was getting impatient so she
pulled her tooth out her self with floss. I'm glad
I did not have to pull it this time. It makes me queazy.
