Trip to Idaho

My mom lives in Idaho Falls and so we were unable
to see her on Christmas day so we went up there the day
after for a few days. We had an awesome time. We of course
loved riding around never ending hills on the
snowmobiles. Occasionally getting lost! The snow started to
melt the last couple of days we were there so we had to
go up to the hills in the middle of no where. We had fun
building a snow man on the top of the highest hill.
Since we did not get to spend Christmas day with my mom we
had a nice ham dinner and exchanged presents.
We played games and watched movies. Brandon, me my Mom
and my brother were able to make it to the Rexburg Temple
while my little sister watched the girls. It is a beautiful
temple and we were glad we were able to go. We helped
my brother move out of his apartment. It was fun to see
where my little brother lived while going to school.
We also went to a Hot spring pool. The water had sulfur in
in which smelled like eggs. But after a good shower we smelled
better!
When visiting my mom and her Husband John you can always
plan on eating well. After the pool John took us to a nice
lodge to have pizza. Riley got to put money in the juke box.
It was nice to spend time with my family.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning we just took it easy with the girls.
It is so fun to watch them open each present.
Their reactions are priceless.
In the afternoon we went to my Dad's house to
spend some time with him. We opened presents
and played a game. In the evening we went to
Brandon's parents house for Christmas dinner and opened
more presents.
It was a wonderful peaceful day. What's better then
spending time with the ones you love. I'm so blessed
to have such a wonderful family.

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas Eve we went to
Brandon's Aunts house for dinner.
None of the kids or adults knew that Santa
was coming to our party until we heard bells
ringing and a big, "HO HO HO" coming down
the stairs. The kids dropped everything
and with big smiles on their face watched
as Santa entered the room.
Riley was a little cautious of Santa. Paige on
the other hand was more then willing to sit
on Santa's lap. Sierra would not even
let me put her down. She still is afraid of
Santa. With a little coaxing Riley finally
told Santa what she wanted for Christmas.

The Traditional Christmas Eve PJ's.
It is funny to see their excitement even when
they know every year they get pajamas!

We told Riley and Paige to open their present before they get
in their pajamas since they were getting new PJ's but
out of routine they got dressed for bed anyway.

"Nativity" Family Night

Brandon's sister and her family came in
town for the Holidays. We all got together
before Christmas and had dinner and
acted out the Nativity story. The kids
love it every year!

Brandon and his brother Jeff were the shepherds.
Spencer, Madi, and Paige were the 3 wise men.
Riley got to be the Angel.

This year we had a baby boy in the family so we did
not have to use a doll as Baby Jesus. Josh stayed in
the manger the entire time of the story with out
making a noise.

Jason and his Daughter Savannah were
Joseph and Mary.

After the nativity story. Grandma got her chimes out
and the girls got to ring them while we
sang Christmas songs.
