Boondocks

Aunt Rachael invited us to go to Boondocks
with them.  The girls rode the motor boat.

Then they spent the rest of their night in the kids cove.

Friends

Our good friends invited my kids to their
daughters birthday party.
It was Ellie's and Hallie's birthday party at
the Tumble cats gym.
They got to tumble and learn a dance.

We forgot to grab Carter and Sadie for the picture.

Paige's Party

The Day of Paige's Birthday Party:

My family came in town late the night before.
The kids all woke up to a surprise to see Grandpa,
Grandma and Aunt Karissa!

Paige had a soccer game the day of her party. It was
a little cold and rainy but she did not mind.  She loves
playing soccer and is good at it.

Later that day we decorated the house
for her party and made her rainbow cake.
She wanted a Rainbow party, which
was so fun to put together!

There were balloons and rainbow colored streamers
hung all around.

Aunt Kami helped me hang the colorful back drop
for her birthday table.  I got a fun idea off Pinterest
for putting candy in mason jars in all the colors
of the rainbow for the kids to eat.  That was a big
hit with the kids!  There was even rainbow colored
ice cubes. We had home made ice cream and a
chocolate cake which is Paige's favorite! I made Paige a
birthday shirt with her name, the number six
and a picture of her on it.

Aunt Skyla was visiting family in Washington so
she could not be there that night.

Paige looks so sweet in this picture!
I love her true happy smile!

This is what the rainbow cake looked like inside.
It was a very easy cake to make just lots of frosting.

Thanks to all the family that came to celebrate with Paige.
She sure loves you all!
She might not remember all her party's,  I know I don't
but I know she will remember that her family always
came and loves her.

Grandpa Corrigan was unable to come to Paige's party
so he stopped by another day to wish Paige a
Happy Birthday and bring her a gift.

Birthday Girl Paige

My Paige is 6 years old.  Wow she has grown so fast.
She had been talking about turning 6 for the entire
last year!
This is what she did on her birthday this year.
She went to school, which she loves!
At the end of school I brought in a birthday treat
(Ice Cream) for her to pass out to all her classmates
for her birthday.  She had a substitute teacher that day.
But the class still sang very loudly, Happy Birthday to
her.  She wore the birthday crown and of course
just smiled and giggled the entire time the class sang!
She came home from school and played with friends
and tired to be patient until Brandon got home so she
could open her presents.

Finally Brandon got home from work
so Paige could open presents.
I loves this picture of Riley giving her sister Paige
a present and they are putting their arm around
each other.  I'm just going to have to hang on to
this picture and show them how much they love
each other when they are fighting!
Paige's good friend Riley Tidwell came over
as well to watch Paige open her presents.

Brandon and I got her a new bike.  Which ended
up being a little too big.  So we had to get a different
one.

She was happy anyway even thought it was big.

This is the new bike which fits her perfect!

We love you so much Paige!!!
Happy 6th Birthday!

A good visit

Grandma and Grandpa Gardner were flying out of town on Paige's
birthday this year so they came by the day before for a surprise visit after
Paige's tumbling class to bring her some presents.

My children have such great Grandparents.
I hope my children know or will someday realize
the greatness of having such good family.

New Trampoline

So now that the weather is warm enough we
decided to set up the trampoline that the kids
got for Christmas.  They were so excited!
I love how Sierra is holding the tramp
instructions tell Paige how to set it up.
Owen, Sierra and Paige helped Brandon
set up the tramp by handing him the parts he needed.

Until they got distracted from the Ice Cream truck
that drove down our street.  Owen loves dancing
to the trucks music.

It started to get dark before we actually finished
and could jump since our snow cones took
so much time!
Sierra stuck it out the entire time helping while
the other kids wanted to play with their friends.
I know all the pictures are of Brandon putting
the tramp together but for the record I did help
and plus someone has got to keep track of our
good times and snap some pictures!

We let Owen jump first but he just cried unless
I held him and jumped which then he loved!
All that hard work helping Daddy put the tramp
together and Sierra knew just what to do when
it was her turn.

More giggles from Paige.

A smile of exhilaration form Riley!

Owen was not going to have anything to do with
the tramp while his crazy excited sisters were on it.

But how quickly his mood changes when mom
holds him.

Spaghetti

All I can say is I should have just put him in the tub!
He loves spaghetti and gets impatient using his fork and
just picks it up with his hands and for some reason has
to rub his head and face with his sauce covered hands.
So cute though!  Right?

Easter Sunday

Well I guess it's a good thing my kids get up pretty
early since church starts at 9:00 this year.

I can't help my self matching my girls and the rest
of us.  It's too much fun.  Plus I know it won't last
forever and my girls will be more picky about
what they wear.
The lighting was not the best after church but
we all wanted to change so I had to get one
before.

Owen thought getting his picture on the ladder
with his sisters was pretty cool.

The girls with cousin Emery.

Emery loves giving hugs!
