Bath Time

Owen loves bath time. But what baby doesn't.
Now I get more wet when Owen takes a bath
then he does. He kicks and splashes a ton.
He wants to sit up in the bath and play now.

Dinner with Grandpa C.

My dad and his wife came over for dinner
the day after Christmas. They absolutely
spoiled my girls with gifts.

Riley got the Karate Kid movie.

I love this picture of Paige being a Doctor.

Paige loves her new guitar.

Sierra playing her new piano.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning is so much more fun when
you have kids. Every Christmas morning the kids
find their stockings that Santa put in their room
and bring them to our room. They empty them out
on our bed. This is probably the only morning
Riley gets up before her sisters! We had Paige and
Sierra sleep in Riley's room so they would not come
up the stairs and see all that Santa brought before
the rest of us were up. Santa got the girls favorites.
Chocolate and watermelon gum.

The girls waiting patiently to go into the living room.
Sierra kept saying she was tired and wanted to go back to bed.
The girls go in youngest to oldest into the living room.
A family tradition on both mine and Brandon's side.

Great Grandpa Gardner came over when the
girls woke up to give them presents. He is such
a sweet Grandpa!

Santa brought tub toy mermaids that have color
changing hair. They love the tub and mermaids!
Owen loving his new toy.

The girls knew I bought these helmets for them
but they were surprised to see I put their name
and a design on the back with vinyl.

The girls giving Loves and Thanks to Daddy
for the gifts.

Riley being the good big sister that she is, read
Owen his new book.

It did not quite feel like Christmas day when
there was no snow and us and the neighbors were
outside. It was a good thing for the girls there was
no snow so they could ride their new scooters.
Sierra's scooter was little big and wobbly for her so I
helped give her a ride.

Brandon and I got bikes. Now we can go on
family bike rides. Something I've wanted to do
for a while now.

We had Brandon's siblings and Grandma and Grandpa
Gardner along with my mom, John and sister
over for a gourmet breakfast. It's starting to become
a tradition being the second time around. We love having family
over. My mom came over before breakfast to watch the girls
open presents. Grandma and Paige played Chinese
checkers with Grandpa John.

It was a nice relaxing Christmas. We did not have
to drive around town going to every ones house.
After a fun morning we went to Gardner's for dinner.
Riley got her Easy Bake oven she wanted.

Paige got her Car Racing Barbie

Sierra got her kitty cat musical jewelry box.
And her radio.

We have such a wonderful Family and we love
sharing the holidays with all of them!

For Christmas Eve we had my Sister Kami and her family,
my mom, her husband and my other sister Karissa
over for a nice dinner.
By the end of the night we were pretty tired.

A visit from the guy in RED!

The girls had a surprise one night when
Santa showed up on their porch.
The girls loved sitting on his lap and telling
him what they wanted for Christmas.
Santa even brought them a gift. Sierra
did not want to sit on his lap. Just watch
from a distance.
Riley thought Santa looked like Great
Grandpa LeCheminant.

Owen was so tired but we had to get a picture.

Santa at the Mall

I got in trouble from the employees for taking this picture.
But I was not about to pay 15.00 for a 5x7 picture.
What a rip off.
Paige was so cute giving Santa a card she made him.
She was a little nervous to give it to him though.

Christmas Sunday

I decided not to coordinate outfits for Christmas
Sunday this year. Mostly because it is way to expensive
but also because I did not want the added stress. I can say
I enjoyed the sabbath day more not having the extra worry
if we all matched and looked good. Who really cares, right?
Don't get me wrong I would love to get a new Sunday skirt
and for my girls to get cute matching dresses. But I wanted
to use the money for something more practical, my basement.
Even though we don't all match my family is still so cute!

Old friends

Me and my friends from high school try to get
together ever year. This is only half of us but it
was good catching up with those that were there.
I have been very lucky to have had such good friends
in school.

Helping mommy make stew

Sometimes Owen gets bored of the same old toys
so I gave him a carrot to chew on. It kept him busy
while I cut up all the food for stew.

Owen's new toy

We've had this toy since Riley was a
baby and Owen is now big enough to play
with it. I love how his favorite toy
is the dumbest one on the saucer.
I love his expressions in these pictures.
First the toy catches his eye then he
concentrates hard on it
then we get a smile.

Sister and Brother

Paige can't get enough of Owen. Good thing Owen is
okay with her constant kisses and hugs.

This is why....

I let Brandon do the painting with the sprayer.
Oh how I love my sweet husband!
It's good to know that he will still be good looking
when he gets old and has gray hair!

Grandpa C. and Riley

My Dad did not come to Riley's Party
because he was out of town so he stopped
by another day to give her a present and
wish her a Happy Birthday.

My little Helper

I don't know what I would do with out Riley.
She is my best little helper. She is so good with
Owen. When ever he cries she picks him up and
plays with him, feeds him and even changes
his diapers when I can't.
I love you Riley!

Hay Ride

Our ward had a Christmas Party. A chili cook off
and hay rides. It was absolutely freezing so we did
not stay long but it was fun to talk with friends.
I was surprised when Sierra let Brandon take
her close to the horses. But of course she did not
want to touch the horse.

Riley's 7th Birthday

Riley turned 7!

We decided to let Riley open a few gifts before school.
That got her out of bed! She is not a morning person.
But was very excited for her birthday.

Riley has been bugging me for almost a year
to make her an enterchangable watch band
and watch. So I finally made her a few.
She loves them. Now she has to learn how to
tell time.

Her new birthday outfit.

Riley was so excited to have her Mom and Dad
both come to school lunch.

Riley wanted to bring a treat to share in her class
for her birthday. She picked ice cream. Which the class
loved. I love all the boys in her class lining up in the back
thinking they are so cool!

Riley has such good friends.
Taebia brought her a present after
school.

Hallie did as well.

For birthday traditions in our family
we let the birthday person pick what they want
for dinner. Riley picked, "cream cheese chicken in the corck pot"
and broccoli and garlic bread. She got to eat it on the
RED special plate.

Then we had family over for cake and
ice cream.
