Baby Number Four!!!

Yes, we are having another baby!
Due August 17th!
We are all very excited! Specially the girls!
Except a while after telling them Paige started
crying and said she did not want me to have
another baby. I asked her why.
And she said, "we don't have a crib".
I told her we did. I also told her that she
and big sis Riley will get a new room down
stairs that daddy is going to build for them.
She then was concerned again and said,
"how will we move the dresser". Oh the things
that go through a 3 yr old mind. I told her not
to worry and that daddy is strong and he can
move it.
Most likely this will be our last baby Gardner. Kind
of sad to think of that so I've tried to enjoy
all the extra emotional strains, the sick to my
stomach awfulness and the extremely always tiredness
that comes with it.

But we are truly happy
and can't wait for the new
adventure!

Pagie's Field Trip

We have been to the Tree House Museum
so many times, however my kids don't
get sick of it like I do.
Paige had her Preschool Field Trip at
the museum.
Paige is the cutest "Cow Girl"!

I'm surprised Sierra wanted to ride the horse when
she was afraid of milking the cow.

Paige wanted to wear the apron to make it
more real.

Sierra and Paige spent most of their time playing
tea party.

We need one of these at home. The girls loved it. Painting
with water. And I loved it because there was no mess to
clean up after.

Paige and her friend Livia.

And of course my cute girls!

Riley's 6yr check up

Riley had her 6 year old Check up at
the doctors. She is fit as a fiddle.
They checked her eyes and it's good
to know she has 20/20 vision.

Riley weighed 39 lbs.
at 14%

Riley is 44 inches
at 23%

It's nice that Riley finally is not so scared of the doctors.

Dr. Nielson checking her reflexes.
Doctors don't check their mouth reflex, but
I don't need a doctor to tell me that hers works good!
She is so quick to respond with a sassy response when
I ask her to do her homework or clean her room!
But on the other hand is as sweet as they come.

Diaper Free!

Sierra is officially "Potty Trained"!
A few weeks ago we started when I was
sick of finding her with her clothes stripped off
and her on the toilet after she had gone in her
diaper. So we bought her some panties and went
to work. She liked the pink port a potty. Then a week later
she got use to the toilet with the ring so she would not
fall in. And just a few days ago she said she wants to
be a big girl and go in the potty with out the ring.
Yeah no more diapers. I hope it lasts for a while.

New Years Eve

We headed off to the Cabin in Bear Lake for New Years!
All the family was up there and some friends.

Grandpa is pulling the sleds back up the hill. We love
that part of sledding. Not having to walk back up the hill!

Brandon and his brother with Sierra and Josh

In the Cabin where it's warm Katie is getting a new
hair style by Riley.

Us old folk were getting tired and knew the kids were too
so we had the count down around 10:00
Grandma brought up noise makers and poppers. The
kids loved it!

Happy New Year!
Me, Brandon and my cute girls!
Us adults stayed up playing games until mid night.
We couldn't let our age slow us down!
We should of did what Grandma did. Sleep and then
wake up just in time to say, "Happy New Year" and
give a toast with sparkling cider!

Of course we had to go sledding again the next day.
Sierra is so funny when she gets in her snow gear.
She automatically wants to fall asleep and relax. Probably
because her mobility is none in the bulky snow suit.

I tried a few runs. But like Sierra I'd rather watch
and laugh when they crashed!
Paige couldn't get enough. Just like her dad.

Grandpa and Grandma bought up a new 3 in 1 table.
The girls favorite was the air hockey.

Riley loves ice sickles. This one is as tall as her.

Brandon talked us all to going down to the beach and
walking on the frozen lake. Once I realized it was safe
I was okay. I'm such a chicken. Riley had no fear she
would follow her dad everywhere. Notice she
is making snow angels on the Lake.
Paige kept freaking out. I guess she is like me thinking
of the fact that there is freezing deep water below us.

The girls standing on the frozen Lake.

Riley had so much fun finding Ice sheets twice this size
and throwing them to make them shatter like glass.

Sledding where we usually build sand castles. The beach.
I guess Bear Lake is our families year round play ground.
