Off to BEAR LAKE

We had a wonderful time up at Bear Lake.
Some of our good moments where this...

Driving up Logan canyon with the windows rolled
down and the music all the way up singing
to Taylor Swift's song " You belong with me".
Or the high heel, T-shirt song, is what my girls
call it. Brandon even sang with us girls!
Don't tell him I told! They thought heir daddy was
hilarious! Actually me and the girls started feeling car sick
which happens most often so the windows went down and
the bags came out. What bad genetics.
Sorry girls.

We were the first ones up there so we went to
Merlins for dinner. They have a park for the
kids to play in.
I don't know where Riley gets her monkey skills.
It must be from recess at school!

Sierra loving it!

Paige actually eating a hamburger in stead of chicken
nuggets from Mcdonalds.

The girls wanted to go to the beach and play before
the rest of the family came up. It was so much fun!
We were the only ones on the beach. Brandon and
I played frisbee which I must admit my 3yr old
can throw the frisbee better then me. Brandon told
me I play frisbee like his sister Alli plays basketball!
Sorry Alli. We can't be good at everything!
The girls played of course in the sand.

The lake was so calm and the sky was so beautiful there.
Brandon loves those moments when it's just
his wife and girls.

Brandon and the girls started skipping rocks in the river,
which then started everyone stuffing rocks down every ones
clothes. Riley thought that was a fun game!

The girls had a few laughs in the paddle boat.

The moon was so big and bright which you can't
quite tell in the picture.

Skyla received her Endowments...
The next Day Brandon and I drove down to the
Logan temple to be with Skyla when she received her
endowments. We left the girls up in Bear Lake
with Grandma and Grandpa Gardner.
It was so wonderful in the temple. I was able to
be Skyla's Escort. Which I'm so grateful for. Skyla is
a wonderful happy person. Being the escort was
very rewarding. I was able to sit in the instruction
room with her as she was preparing for the endowment
session. So many wonderful things were talked about
that I forget or don't remember since I received
my own endowments 7 years ago.
John, Cheryl, Brandon, Me, Skyla, Michael, Scott, Justin & David

I had to have our picture taken in front of the temple.
After all it was our 7th year anniversary.

After the temple we went to a Mexican restaurant,
Cafe Sabora. And met up with my brother Patrick
and his wife Michelle. It was so nice and supportive of
them to drive all the way up to Logan. At the end of
the table was Michale's best friends. They have
always been so good to Michael.
What a wonderful day! I'm so happy for
Skyla. The temple was such a good place to
be for our anniversary.

Back at the Cabin....

Lisa and Bob doing the dishes. They are such
a great example of a righteous marriage.
After Sunday naps the kids or adults needed
to get out. So we headed off to the park.
We went to this park a couple of years ago,
but they have added a bunch of new fun things.
We played the traditional game of "PIG". Which I
won! Yes, I won three men. Don't forget it Bob, Jeff
and Brandon. But then Bob and Brandon killed me
with the lay ups on the second game. Lay ups
are so hard.

Riley and Paige attempted the rock wall.

Riley's and my favorite thing at the park was
the marry go round. It tilts a little at the top so
you continue to go around.

Bob, Brandon, Jeff, Rachael and me thought
we would give it a try.

Another cool thing at the park was this
rope jungle gym. Being the competetor that I am
I raced Brandon to the top. And I won, barrley. But he
only had flip flops on. I biffed it the second time around.
To bad we didn't get that on camera.

The girls loved that there were things at the park
that mommy and daddy could play on with them!

Last Day on the Beach...
It was a cold Labor day but still fun.
The Augers decided to drop on by. Riley was
so excited to have her friend, Elyssa there to play.
Paul and Brandon dug holes for them.
It was pretty cold so us adults just bundled up and
talked while the kids stayed out of the water
and played in the sand.
