New Years Eve

We headed off to the Cabin in Bear Lake for New Years!
All the family was up there and some friends.

Grandpa is pulling the sleds back up the hill. We love
that part of sledding. Not having to walk back up the hill!

Brandon and his brother with Sierra and Josh

In the Cabin where it's warm Katie is getting a new
hair style by Riley.

Us old folk were getting tired and knew the kids were too
so we had the count down around 10:00
Grandma brought up noise makers and poppers. The
kids loved it!

Happy New Year!
Me, Brandon and my cute girls!
Us adults stayed up playing games until mid night.
We couldn't let our age slow us down!
We should of did what Grandma did. Sleep and then
wake up just in time to say, "Happy New Year" and
give a toast with sparkling cider!

Of course we had to go sledding again the next day.
Sierra is so funny when she gets in her snow gear.
She automatically wants to fall asleep and relax. Probably
because her mobility is none in the bulky snow suit.

I tried a few runs. But like Sierra I'd rather watch
and laugh when they crashed!
Paige couldn't get enough. Just like her dad.

Grandpa and Grandma bought up a new 3 in 1 table.
The girls favorite was the air hockey.

Riley loves ice sickles. This one is as tall as her.

Brandon talked us all to going down to the beach and
walking on the frozen lake. Once I realized it was safe
I was okay. I'm such a chicken. Riley had no fear she
would follow her dad everywhere. Notice she
is making snow angels on the Lake.
Paige kept freaking out. I guess she is like me thinking
of the fact that there is freezing deep water below us.

The girls standing on the frozen Lake.

Riley had so much fun finding Ice sheets twice this size
and throwing them to make them shatter like glass.

Sledding where we usually build sand castles. The beach.
I guess Bear Lake is our families year round play ground.
