1st Grade Program

Paige had her 1st grade Program.  The program was all
about Dinosaurs.  She was so excited and practiced the
songs all year long.  A few weeks before the program
she got to paint a shirt how she wanted.

I took Paige and Riley over to the school an hour
before it started to get a seat.  I know that is crazy
but I was not the only one that went that early.
She sang songs about dinosaurs that I did not even
know the names of or could even pronounce.

Kindergarten Field Day

For Kindergarten Field Day the morning classes and
afternoon classes from each teacher came at the
same time and were split into groups.  They made
rotations to different stations.  They played in a
mini pool of water, blew bubbles, did relay races,
drew with side walk chalk, played on the play ground,
ate popsicles and other things.  I volunteered
to help and was in charge of the bubble station.
It was a long 2 1/2 hours.  Luckily this year
I was in the shade!  Owen liked playing on the
play ground and for the most part stayed close and
did not wander off.

Mothers Day

I had a wonderful Mothers Day!  My kids are so
sweet.  Riley hung a sign on my bedroom door
with all the things she loves about me.

And Paige drew me a picture with chalk on the porch
of me and her.  She used dirt to get the brown for
her eyes since we did not have brown chalk.  So cute!

Sierra colored a picture for me of my favorite princess, Bell.

I have the most beautiful children!

They were so excited to give me gifts.

And of course a picture of me and my sweet Husband.
He helped the kids make it a special day for me.

For dinner we went to Brandon's sister Katie's house
for dinner.

Hamblin Farms

Paige had a field trip to Hamblin Farms.  She really
wanted me to go. Her field trip started right
after I got done with work so I had to take Sierra
to school and hurry over there.  It was such a windy
cold day.  But Paige and Owen had fun anyway.
We got to learn about Sheep and their wool, how the
farmers get milk from the cows and how the animals
live on the farm and what the farmers do to take care of
them.  Paige loved riding on the bus with her friends.
It was nice being so close to the school.

Spring Piano Recital

Riley had her Spring Piano Recital.  And did great as always.
You could tell she was still a bit nervous but I think she
is getting better with the past two years of recitals.
At this recital her teacher handed out their Federation
certificates and trophies.  Riley has not played piano long
enough to get her gold cup trophy yet but she earned the highest
rating for  her Federation solo which we were all thrilled about!
I'm just so proud of Riley sticking with it and developing her
talent.  She definitely has gotten so much better over the last year.

Paige's Soccer GOAL!

This is one of Paige's Goals she made this season.
She aimed just right with the other team on her tail.
She was pretty pumped.

FAMILY

This particular Sunday was baby Jase Wickers blessing.
I for some reason forgot to snap a picture of him.
But I did get a picture of Uncle Spencer, Riley and Paige.
It's these kind of moments that I believe Spencer will agree
with after his kind and loving words to the family at the
luncheon at his house that, Family is the most important thing
and how so very blessed we are to have such a wonderful family.
Who takes time to teach and play with the kids and serve
those who are in need and help out when ever there is something
to get done.  I'm so grateful for my family and that my children
are growing up with such an amazing support system.

I love you all Family!

Paige's BIRTHDAY!

Paige turned 7!
This is how her day went.
She wore her birthday outfit to school.  Which
she picked out at the mall and was very
excited about it.  I must say it's a bit girly for
her normal attire.  I'm happy about that!
She looked so cute!

I came to her lunch to be with her.  It happened to be
"break the rules day" and she got to eat outside.
Which was a little chilly.

After school her good friends Riley and Sydnee Tidwell
brought her over a present.  That was so nice of them!

Later her Aunt Katie and her cousins came over
to give her a present because Aunt Katie had plans
that night and did not know if she'd make it to her
party.

For dinner Paige picked Shepherds Pie and Broccoli
some of her favorite things to eat.

After dinner family and friends came over to
celebrate her birthday and have cake and ice cream.
Paige wanted a soccer party so I hung a few soccer
decorations.  Paige wanted a chocolate cake with
chocolate frosting.  Most of the families favorite.
I also made white cake cup cakes.  Which most of the
kids liked.  Paige did not have a friend birthday this
year so I told her she could invite a few friends over.

Here are all the guests at Paige's party:
Paige and Sierra

Paige and Riley and baby Chase

Paige and Great Grandpa LeCheminant and Brenda

Paige and Grandma and Grandpa Gardner

Paige and the Gardner Family

Paige really wanted an American Doll but after getting
great advice from my sister in law I saved 75% and bought
a look a like and yes she calls it her, "American Doll"!
Score!  Plus the look a likes are so cute!
Paige said she wanted a red head doll with freckles.
Compliment to Paige's beautiful Aunt Katie!

My GIRLS

My girls are so cute and I had
to add this to my blog for me.
This day was picture day
at School and you never know
how they'll turn out and I wanted
them all together.
I did their hair all the same.  And
they did not seem to mind.  I finally
got Paige to wear her skinny jeans
again.  And Paige let Riley
wear her shirt.

Bird Feeder

Okay so I must say this just so some moms can relate
or just realize that they are better then me
because this might not be a big deal for them!

Brandon had to take off after Paige's soccer
game this Saturday to help his Brother and so
I thought it would be no big deal taking the
kids to the Home Depot activity they do
once a month.  My kids love it and look forward
to it.  So we went.  The HD employes handed
my kids their bird house kit and we headed
to the tables to build them. I think under different
circumstances I could have figured it out but between
the crowded tables, a toddler I did not dare take my
eyes off for a sec and my other 3 girls wanting my
attention to help them build their bird house right
at the same moment got me a little overwhelmed.
So after a few minutes of trying to help them all
at once I gave up.  We packed up the kits and
headed home to build them at home.  Which
for me worked out better.  The kids really could
not have done it on their own because they needed
me with each step.  The kids still had fun making
and painting them.  And then we bought some
bird feed and hung them in our back yard.
The kids love watching the birds.

But I'll be the first to admit that a mother of 4 is
tough and I'm not sure how other mothers do
it with any more little ones than I have.

Soccer

I really enjoy watching Paige play soccer.  She loves
playing which makes it more fun to watch.
She stays with the ball and is talented enough to use
both feet to kick the ball with.  I don't even think I
can!
