Easter 2011

Easter Morning...

The kids had a hard time finding their baskets

the Easter Bunny hid for them. And all the eggs.

We took some quick family Easter Pictures

before church. Owen just wanted to crawl around

and play outside.

We all had a hard time not laughing at

Brandon hit the camera button and

run to get in his picture pose. We also had

to put a toy on top of the camera so Owen

would look the right direction.

Egg Hunts

My sisters and our kids got together

to have an Easter Egg Hunt.

We were lucky the weather was not bad.

Later in the evening we headed to the Gardner's

for another Egg Hunt and Dinner.

We put an egg right in front of Owen thinking

he would see it which he did but he would rather

play with the dirt then the egg. Silly boy!

Brandon's parents are so much fun.

After the kids found all their eggs they

stuffed the eggs with more candy and

bigger bills for the adults and they and

the kids got to hide eggs for us parents.

Owen can really cruise and when the dish

washer is open there is no exception for

his fast moving. He loves the dishwasher.

But what baby doesn't.

It seems life never gets any less busy however

we still managed to get our eggs dyed right

before bed time.

Feeding the ducks

On a semi warm Sunday we went

and fed the ducks at the Jensen park

in Syracuse. The kids never get sick of it.

And Owen absolutely loved the ducks and

if it were not for the seat belt in the stroller

then he would be in the water with the ducks.

I love Sundays when we can be together as a

family. Those are the best times and the ones

I remember the most.

Paige is FIVE

Paige started out her 5th Birthday

with a surprise of Balloons tied to

her favorite candy bar, Hershey's chocolate

when she woke in the morning.

Paige loved getting the DVD, "Tangled"

and her leapster explorer.

Paige loved the visitors who came to see her

on her birthday!

Paige had Family over for a party.

Her theme this year was a, "P" party!

Mom made her a "P" collage cake topper.

Paige loved trying out her new roller blades

she got from G&G Gardner. After a couple

of months practice she skates like a pro 5 year old!

Paige also had her first friend birthday party.

She wanted cupcakes with a letter "P" on them.

We added sparkle dots to the number "5".

And glued her picture on all the party cups.

We had streamers of P's hanging around the room.

They ate Pizza for lunch.

They played, "Pin the P on the alphabet".

And dug for Prizes that begun with the

letter P in the Pop corn.

And Paige was so excited for the Pinata.

Which sadly broke before everyone got a turn.

But the kids thought it was funny to wear the

the pinata on their head!

A day before Paige's birthday

she got to bring a poster all about

herself to school along with a treat

for her birthday. You can tell she is

very excited.

Growing up so fast.

Owen is the cutest 8 month old!

Soccer & Conference

We had a nice conference week end. Saturday

we went to Paige's and Riley's soccer games

and then came back for the 2nd session of

conference. Hallie joined us for conference

bingo with candy. I was really proud of all

the girls. They were so quiet and tried very

hard to listen. I know they did not quite

understand everything but they got excited

when hearing words that they've heard before

being used associated with the gospel.

I'm so grateful for are prophet and the apostles.

We are truly blessed to be taught by them.

Owen thinks he is big enough to start driving.

He is going to love the warm weather out side.
