Brandon's Sister was in town for a few weeks
so we all went to Bear Lake. Alli and her
3 girls might not make it back her next
year because of Jason's medical school
situation. But my girls always love when their
cousins our in town.
Paige playing in the wet sand.
She wanted Brandon to take her on a 4 wheeler ride.
She loves it! When they came back Paige was
turned around leaning against Brandon's chest
and Brandon had blood on his shirt. I thought
"oh no" how bad?
Paige has to be the toughest of our girls. She
did not even cry. Are other girls would have cried
even if it didn't hurt. I'm sure the cut was
stitch worthy but we were not sure
how the medical treatment would have been
in Garden city. Prepared Grandma Gardner
with her first aid kit got her all bandaged up.
We just hope it does not scar.
Brandon felt so bad. The water covered a huge dip
and when they went over it Paige smacked her
head on the front of the 4 wheeler.
Good thing the new helmets Grandma bought
were at the cabin and not on the beach when
we needed them!
That did not stop Paige from wanting rides.
Riley, Savannah and Paige collecting sea shells.
Riley's favorite thing to do at Bear Lake.
My least favorite. I can still hear the sea shells
lost in side the car seat. No more shells in the car!
Sierra loves the boat! All thought it never fails
that after 5 minutes she is a sleep in my arms
with a towel over her head. She is very
particular how she wants things done!
The girls laughing their head off at Grandpa's
"bumping crazy boat driving."
Bear Lake weather is so unpredictable. It can go from
calm water and sunny skies to lightening and 5 ft waves.
Of course Brandon won't let that opportunity go to waist.
He, Spencer and Jeff borrowed some boards
from Aunt Deb and surfed the waves. It was fun watching
until Paige started having a fit. I thought is was because she
was tired. But actually she had stuck a sea shell up her
nose and could not get it out. Honestly, I thought the
rock she got stuck up her nose a few months before
would have taught her a lesson not to put things up there,
but I guess not. Good thing we had some tweezers!
Of course the girls had to do their traditional
Patriotic march with Grandma and the American
flags. Grandma is so good to play with the girls.
This is always one of their favorite moments.
The girls look so cute in their helmets. I'm glad they
don't mind wearing them.
Husking the corn for dinner. Such good helpers.
Or could it be that they just love corn on the cob!
Riley loves to either frown or cheese it in pictures.
She must be having a good time!
Cousin Savannah and Riley.
These two always have fun together.
Sierra got to cold in the lake water because she
is so dang little. So she plays mostly in the
dirty, warm puddles on the beach.
Riley freezing but still having fun!
Me, Brandon, Olivia and Alli
Paige cuddling with Grandma to get warm.
Grandpa bought some new youth skis and hoped
that 1 of his 7 grandchildren would try them.
They were all being chickens and did not want too.
Until Grandpa offered 10 bucks if they'd try.
This was after I offered her 2 dollars and uncle Jeff
offered her 50 cents. Man we are cheap!
Paige was still not sure since she does not know
the value of money quite yet. I told her that with 10 dollars
she could buy all the candy in the store. After that she was
stoked and gave it a try.
She loves candy!
You could tell she was scarred but tried to put
on a happy face. She did not quite stand up all
the way but rather sat on the skis while we
pulled her. She did so good for being only 3.
Good job Paige!
She cried, "mommy" while going over the wake.
What a brave little girl.
Uncle Spencer dived in to her rescue.
She says she does not want to ski again.
But I'm sure she well soon enough.
Grandpa says someone else has to offer the
bribe next time.
Waiting for dinner!
There are too many girls in this family. Poor
cousin Josh!
Paige and her well earned 10 dolalrs!
Big squeezes to Grandpa!
Grandpa and Grandma and their 4 children.
What a good looking family!
"Crazy drives"
Sierra, Paige, and Maddie.
